I have a headache to where every time i move my head suddenly, it hurts. How do i get rid of this headache without taking pills?
Ouch. I just got over mine! XD
Here’s what I do to get rid of my headache! It’s never failed me.
First, take a few peices of paper towl and fold it until it’s thick enough. Make sure it’s wide and long enough to fit over your whole forehead and over atleast part of your eyes. If you don’t have paper towl, kleenex or toilet paper work too.
Than, run the paper towl under cold water from your sink until it’s full of water.
When your done with that, place the wet paper towel in your freezer and leave it in there for about 30-60 minutes, depending on how long it takes it to freeze up. While you wait, wash your face with cold water and sit down in a dark room with your eyes closed.
When the paper towers frozen solid, go to your room or any dark room with a bed, turn the lights off and make sure there isn’t much light. Cover your windows if you have to or close your blinds. Lay on your bed.
Than, put the frozen paper towel on your forehead and a bit over your eyes. press the sides down a little so it takes up the shape of your forehead. Don’t press it too much though, because it’ll start to melt away on it’s own. Close your eyes.
This always works for me and like I said, it NEVER fails. You may also be thinking, "why not just use an icepack?". Well, ice packs don’t take up the shape of your forehead like a frozen peice of paper towel does. The paper towl gets into every little curve there is.
I also suggest being ready for the headaches. Keep a couple frozen paper towels in your freezer, so you’re ready to go when the headaches do happen.
Good luck!

My little brother has type 1 diabetes and was diagnosed with it at 12 months old and he sometimes get bad migraines. What causes migraines and bad headaches when you have type 1 diabetes?
He is 17 years old and is a big part of me. If something ever happened to him, damn I don’t know what I’d do.
I need some responses here guys.
Thank Tralee, but he already has an insulin pump as do most people with type 1.
I have had type 1 since I was 16 yrs old and have had migraines as well . It is because your sugar goes too high and puts excess pressure on your brain cells causing exspansion of them and that is what causes the migraines . I got this info from my dr and also I got a prescription for sumatriptan and it does help but makes you very drowsy and you cannot do anything after that .

My boyfriend gets headaches almost every day and he hates taking medication. He’ll take 3 Ibuprofen but that’s as much as he’ll do. I want to help make him feel better and have suggested a soothing lavender pillow over his eyes but don’t know where to find one. Anyone have any suggestions?
If he is getting frequent Headaches, you need to find the cause before the solution. He may be suffering from eye-strain(needs glasses) or he may have something more serious going on.
For a non-medical option I would suggest giving him a good head and neck massage, even rubbing lightly on his face(sinus area).
An Ice Pack on his Neck might bring some relief and below is a link to where you can get the Lavender Pillow.
Even though he hates taking them he might want to take 2 Ibuprofen and 2 tylenol(same time) every 4-6 hours ONLY when his headache is really bad. Doctors recommend this "cocktail" since one reduces swelling/stiffness and the other takes care of the pain.
Best of Luck to him
